Grief can be both mentally and physically draining- be intentional about taking care of YOU! This morning, I recognized that I was in need of a little more TLC than usual, so I picked up a Chai Tea Latte from Starbucks, got in my warmest pj's, set my phone to "Do Not Disturb", and took a long nap. JUST what I needed. I encourage you to do whatever works for you, whether it's a bubble bath, a manicure, or even a trip to Target (another one of my personal faves)! I've found that journaling also helps...and I often have my best conversations with God while I'm driving in the car . No music, no phone. Just a quiet space to pour out and receive. As you're navigating through your daily routine, don't forget that it's okay to press pause and focus on you, your journey, and your healing.
